Equipment Director directs the management of company equipment including procurement activities, preventative maintenance, repair/replacement and safety assurance. Manages the records, licenses, inspections, warrantees, and service agreements for the organization's equipment and tools. Being an Equipment Director minimizes organizational cost through product standardization and tracking. Document and tracks equipment performance throughout the product lifetime. Additionally, Equipment Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Equipment Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be an Equipment Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Qualifications:
- Mandatory possession of an Oregon ASL Interpreter License or eligibility for a temporary license.
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of onsite school experience beneficial, but newcomers are welcome for a clinical interview.
- Proficiency in using tech tools like Zoom and various educational apps.
- Must obtain liability insurance upon employment offer.
Position Details:
- Role: 1099 Contractor
- Duration: Current school year with potential for renewal
- Hours per Week: Approximately 37.5
- Compensation: Competitive hourly pay ranging from $35 to $43, paid weekly via direct deposit or check. Pay includes both direct and indirect services—compensation even if a student cancels.
