• Engineers the controls planning of technical equipment as delegated by the client Section Manager.
• Evaluates concept evaluations with technical and financial focus for new facility and process equipment.
• Provides Project oriented planning and realization of measures in collaboration with the internal customer as well as external suppliers.
• Finds the optimum solutions regarding costs, quality, ergonomics, technical innovation, and environment.
• Confers with management, engineering and other staff supporting structural capabilities, production schedules and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
• Provides cost estimation (Invest, Budget), technical specification and request for quotes.
• Evaluates, coordinates and compiles bidder circle, call for bids, offers evaluation, recommendation for the award of contract, acceptance of the equipment from the suppliers and handing over to the operator as delegated by the Section Manager.
• Develops and implements equipment countermeasures to improve equipment reliability. Ensures all equipment design is capable of required uptime.
• Ensures all assigned countermeasures are developed on schedule and effective countermeasures.
• Ensures all assigned projects are on schedule and at/or under approved budget.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Operations Supervisor.

• Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering preferred) or the equivalent of 4 years of engineering experience in the automotive industry.

• 3 years of Project Management experience in several equipment and/or controls planning projects as well as structural modification.

• 3-5 years in training others
• Advanced in cross functional communication experience
• Advanced equipment maintenance experience in electrical, controls, software, and mechanical areas.
• Intermediate experience using Microsoft Office applications.
• Intermediate experience in CAD Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Ability to use and apply statistical methods to aid with process analysis.

• • Work is normally performed in an office, laboratory, manufacturing floor, or machine shop setting where physical work includes, but is not limited to, sitting, standing, reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
