Ethics & Compliance Training Specialist conducts needs analyses and designs and implements ethics, business conduct and compliance training and development programs. Interfaces with multiple functional groups outside the ethics and compliance office to ensure curriculum content and methods meet legal, regulatory and corporate objectives. Being an Ethics & Compliance Training Specialist participates in the development and implementation of classroom, web-based and other media training programs for all employees designed to promote knowledge of the corporate code of conduct policies, legal and regulatory requirements of the organization's business. Coordinates with and ensures a uniform level of ethics and compliance training among operating units of the corporation. Additionally, Ethics & Compliance Training Specialist coordinates both internal and external resources required by the program. Provides technical expertise, evaluates content and makes recommendation on incorporating all facets of corporate training programs into the business operation. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be an Ethics & Compliance Training Specialist typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.     Allied Universal® is hiring a Training and Quality Assurance Manager. The Training and Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with all required portfolio training, as well as Allied Universal standards and reports directly to the CE Regional Training Director.

    Annual Salary: $65,000 / Year.

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Those duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position. To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.     • Work in conjunction with operational partners (Human Resource Coordinators/Branch Managers) to develop practical training programs at the client and branch level, in order to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory mandated training
    • Identify, conduct vetting, and establish relationships with local training academies in order to provide support in the form of external training opportunities
    • Communicate with stakeholders (Regional Training Manager, Field operations, Security Professionals, Supervisors, Field and Corporate Training, and Clients)
    • Deliver field training programs in accordance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations, as well as Allied Universal standards
    • Conduct CPR/First Aid/Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training
    • Conduct Defensive Tactics (e.g., handcuffs, pepper spray, batons, Tasers, firearms) training
    • Conduct Mobility Devices (e.g., vehicles, bicycle, golf cart, Segway) training
    • Conduct field training for Security Professionals and Supervisors
    • Deliver Fire/Life Safety Services (e.g., emergency plans; occupants, floor wardens, and staff presentations; and evacuation drills), and other value-added services such as workplace violence/active shooter training
    • Conduct leadership training such as Supervisor Essentials and White Glove Customer Service to Security Professionals and Supervisors
    • Conduct special projects on an as-needed basis to support the region

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: The basic qualifications listed below are representative of the relevant knowledge, skills, and/or experience required in order to be hired. These are requirements that we have determined are the minimum a candidate must have in order to be successful in this role.

    Formal Education, Licenses, and Certifications Required:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing as required to include, but not limited to:
      • CPR/First Aid/AED Certified Instructor
      • Instructor certifications in supplement training areas as required by local office (i.e., OC Spray, Baton Techniques, Handcuffing, Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), Defensive Tactics, Taser certification, Practical Driver Training Courses, or any other client-specific training as required)
    • Must have a valid driver’s license or be able to pass a state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle

    Type and Length of Specific Experience Required:

    • Minimum of two (2) years of classroom instructor experience

    Knowledge and Skills Required:

    • Ability to work independently with little to no direct supervision
    • Outstanding oral and written communication skills; ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization, including with clients
    • Ability to write manuals, review, and respond to written requests for proposals, training documents, and prepare extensive presentations is required
    • Highly proficient and fully functional in Microsoft programs such as Word and PowerPoint and able to effectively utilize all available office management technology
    • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines
    • Professional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion

    OTHER RELATED ATTRIBUTES THAT WOULD ENHANCE HIRING CONSIDERATION:

    • National Rifle Association (NRA) Law Enforcement Instructor certification, or able to meet all NRA Law Enforcement (LE) eligibility requirements
    • College coursework in Education, Business, Criminal Justice, Human Resources, Security Management, or related field
    • Prior experience in the fire service, security industry, law enforcement and/or military
    • Experience in security operations or other functions of security industry

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENT:

    • Mainly indoor office environment with minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures is expected; some outdoor work will be required
    • Major activities include standing, sitting, stooping, talking, and listening (communicate orally in person and via telephone), reading computer screens, written and electronic correspondence and documents
    • Physical effort requires frequently walking, reach walking with hands and arms, and safely operating a vehicle, occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and may be required to climb stairs, ladders, or ramps
    • Must be able to submit to drug screening to the extent permissible by law

    QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):
