The Director of Compensation and Benefits is responsible for the entire renumeration and benefits system of the organization, which approximates 750 team members located across 34 sites in 25 states. As such, the Director’s effectiveness has a significant impact on employee satisfaction, staff retention and productivity. The Director oversees, trains, and coaches a team of six to ensure that they are, individually and collectively, performing consistently. Reporting to the Senior Director of Human Resources, based in Merion, Pennsylvania, the position also oversees HRIS and payroll administration.
The Director will ensure that all compensation and benefits policies follow federal, state and local laws and are in line with organizational culture. In collaboration with senior management and department heads, the Director of Compensation and Benefits will formulate strategy, implement plans and ensure that the organization is an employer of choice. The Director will review employee benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans, to ensure they are fair, equitable and competitive. This includes benchmarking current compensation and benefits against the macro environment.
