Summary: The Investment coordinator has accountability for processing new accounts and maintenance requests, ensuring accuracy of paperwork, timely research of any questions or issues, tracking investments and posting updates to internal database, communicating extensively with advisors and their teams, as well as our internal operations teams.

Role and responsibilities:

• Process and/or document investment transactions such as asset transfers, maintenance requests, and investment management agreements according to company policies.
• Process and open new accounts and implement and maintain account in-house databases.
• Acts as liaison between custodians, SMA managers and associates to ensure accurate reporting and tracking of client investment accounts.
• Acts as a primary department phone contact in operations for current information regarding the status of applications and management of investment accounts.
• Coordinates with the Investment Specialists providing daily operational assistance.
• Ability to problem solve various account issues and inquiries that involve account opening, maintenance or money movement.
• Processing transactions accurately and efficiently to build confidence and trust.
• Successfully completes any job training requirements.
• Ability to understand and process all functions required by Reps and assistants throughout the life cycle of opening accounts, maintaining accounts, and closing accounts.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Requires a minimum of 2-3 years’ related work experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook

• Ability to prioritize and balance demand by multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Reliable and detail-oriented

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
