Facilities Engineer plans and implements the design of plants, offices, and production lines in order to maximize the use of available space and improve production efficiency. Estimates costs related to layout design, including equipment and materials, labor, etc. and monitors the construction process. Being a Facilities Engineer researches production/processing equipment or fixtures for purchase and gathers data relating to their ability to meet organizational needs. Ensures that established efficiency and safety targets are met. Additionally, Facilities Engineer typically requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Reporting directly to the Facilities Manager, this position must be proficient and versatile in trouble shooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on specialized building equipment and systems. Including: boilers, chillers, building automated controls, AHU’s, VAV’s pumps and refrigeration units. The HVAC Technician will also be knowledgeable in one or more building trades: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, kitchen appliances, and life safety. The operating engineer will direct subordinate team members’ performance to ensure a great experience for guests and excellent working environment for all team members.
Required Certification/License:
Ability to obtain a gaming occupational license within the State of Ohio.
