Facilities Engineer plans and implements the design of plants, offices, and production lines in order to maximize the use of available space and improve production efficiency. Estimates costs related to layout design, including equipment and materials, labor, etc. and monitors the construction process. Being a Facilities Engineer researches production/processing equipment or fixtures for purchase and gathers data relating to their ability to meet organizational needs. Ensures that established efficiency and safety targets are met. Additionally, Facilities Engineer typically requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE- The ideal candidate has a proven track record of working as a Project/Field Engineer with Drainage Facilities and Utilities Adjustments experience at a construction site.

- Comfortable working within a team environment at the project site in Phoenix, AZ
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/SKILLS
- Performs routine duties requiring knowledge of basic engineering principles.
- Limited exercise of judgment is required on details of work.
- Performs specific and limited portions of broader assignments.Being able to communicate with subs and vendors and being able to identify and help solve any discrepancies.
- Knowledge of Submittal/RFI/Change process/Purchase Orders.
- Willing to wear a hard hat, boots and safety glasses (PPE) for field coordination/craft communication and daily field walks.
- Willing to work collaboratively and respectfully within a team environment.
