JOB OVERVIEW:

Performs all upkeep tasks, repairs and cleaning. Responsible for applying basic fixes to bowling equipment, building equipment and systems, and ensuring that the facility is always tidy and functional. Provides assistance to staff, visitors and other employees as necessary. Be reliable with a keen eye for detail. Cross train for all positions as time allows.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Complete company required training including Anti Harassment class through BPAA & any other courses that are required for the position, in a timely manner

Work towards obtaining F07 & F03 NYC Licensing

Keeping both the outside and inside of the building clean at all times

Sweeping and cleaning outside of building, including collecting trash and killing weeds

Changing beer kegs

Oil lanes during league season

Clean ball returns, lanes and gutters everyday

Clean all rooms, hallways, restrooms, lockers, offices, stairways and windows.

Dust furniture and equipment

Remove garbage and recycling throughout each day, and prepare bins for weekly pick-up

Replenish all restroom supplies hourly and check for malfunctioning equipment including sink sensors, toilet sensors, hand dryers, air freshener, toilet paper, dispensers, etc.

Cleaning all glass, doors, windows, game rooms, etc. throughout building keeping clean and transparent

Complete all daily, weekly and monthly checklists as assigned by lead mechanics

Clears snow from entrances and walkway

Follows all applicable safety rules and procedures

Assist in shipping and receiving supplies and materials

Assisting in running food and beverages to guests, and bussing tables as necessary

Responsible for maintain fire exits, extinguishers, sanitizer pump, verifying chairs and tables are secure, bathroom fixtures, and all building maintenance items are complete

Check balls weekly to verify good condition. Inform management of damages and if there is a need to replace.

Checks building at the beginning and end of shifts

Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas, green space and parking lot

Perform general clean up of all areas of the building as directed

Perform cleaning activities such as Bussing and cleaning tables between orders, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc., or any other duties as requested by management

Ability to apply common sense and understanding to daily job activities and customer interactions

Immediately contact management if there is a situation that you are unable to address/handle

Ability to lift and carry objects weighing over 100 pounds with assistance.

Ability to stand for long periods of time

MUST show up to work in proper uniform, on time, ready, willing & able to perform all shift duties

Maintain back end, keep clean and organized

Perform basic machine maintenance as directed by head mechanics, AGM and facility managers

Clean, stock and maintain porter room

Keeping Ping Pong room safe and free from damage, including paddles, balls, floors, couches, tables, etc.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
