Estimates costs related to layout design, including equipment and materials, labor, etc. and monitors the construction process. Being a Facilities Engineer researches production/processing equipment or fixtures for purchase and gathers data relating to their ability to meet organizational needs. Ensures that established efficiency and safety targets are met. Additionally, Facilities Engineer typically requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. POSITION PURPOSE
Responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs for all Credit Union Buildings. Provides professional service at all levels of operation. Keeps management well informed of area activities and maintains all related records.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
High school graduate or equivalent
Valid driver’s license
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.
Knowledge of Credit Union products and services.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
At least 3 years related grounds and maintenance experience preferred.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Able to perform but not limited to the following skills: electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and minor building.
Able to work well independently and handle multiple project/assignments.
Able to use hand tools and power tools.
Good problem-solving skills.
Proficient computer skills.
