Facilities Engineer

This position will be responsible for planning and executing new Central Tank Batteries, Gas Lift Compression, and Well Hookup Installations associated with development activities. This is a M-F position based in Houston, TX.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Engineering degree- petroleum, chemical, mechanical, or civil are preferred
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desired
• Upstream - plant and facilities experience preferred
• 10 years experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with related industry codes and standards applicable to upstream Oil & Gas operations in TX & NM desired. (ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, ASME BPV code, etc.)
• Strong communication, planning, and project management skills
• Must be able to track and manage schedules, budgets, and multiple projects
• Must be familiar with engineering data and production equipment
• Proficient application of APA Engineering & Closed Vent Study (CVS) design standards
• Must have knowledge in multiple disciplines and be able to work with multiple personnel to strategize, develop, and manage facility operations, safety, and compliance
• Experience in the development of construction RFQ packages and coordination of Pre-Start-up Safety Reviews (PSSR)
• Must be proficient in the development of the Scope of Work (SOW), cost estimate, Design Basis Memorandum (DBM), Project Execution Plans (PEP), and Authorization of Funds Expenditure (AFE) documents necessary to obtain project approvals
• Experience with an onshore upstream operator or an EPC firm who provides similar services preferred
