Facilities Manager manages the maintenance, construction, repair, and refurbishment operations of one or more facilities or properties. Implements policies and procedures that ensure the optimal functioning of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment. Being a Facilities Manager monitors daily building operations of all systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management to ensure reliability. Tracks work orders for quality, adherence to service standards, and budgeted guidelines. Additionally, Facilities Manager trains supervisors and employees in best practices for maintenance work, service and safety standards, and local laws and regulations. Oversees vendors or contractors engaged for construction projects. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Facilities Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Facilities Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Facilities Coordinator

The facilities Coordinator is responsible for the administration of the Facilities helpdesk ticketing system that supports all credit union branches and facilities across Colorado and Wyoming. In addition, this role is responsible for establishing, coordinating, and maintaining all service vendor relationships. This includes, but not limited to, the areas of janitorial, landscaping, snow removal, waste management, pest control, electrical, plumbing, & mechanical systems services. Exterior service responsibilities include HVAC preventative maintenance, parking lot maintenance and lighting, window cleaning, roofing, and utilities services. The Coordinator will direct the administration of fixed assets for the organization, including internal inventory tracking, reporting, and disposal. Additionally, this position is responsible for assisting Facility Managers in fleet vehicle maintenance and services, all life/safety systems, and annual inspections and certifications (elevators, back-flow prevention devices, fire extinguishers, fire alarms, and ADA building accessibility). The Coordinator also serves as landlord representative for facility leased space, coordinating all necessary services and repairs. Additional responsibility includes the administration of all office supplies, business forms, and janitorial supplies inventory, ordering, and replenishment. This position also focuses on the following:

    Major Duties and Responsibilities

    • Manages the administration of the Facilities Helpdesk Ticketing system by coordinating all requests for services, communicating progress, scheduling services, and verifying completion of tasks.
    • Directs fixed asset inventory, tracking, reporting, and disposal procedures for the organization. Conducts physical inventory tracking process and manages asset.
    • tagging for tracking in inventory management system. Collaborates with accounting staff to ensure accurate financial records and treatment of fixed assets, consistent with GAAP.
    • Manages all vendor relations in the corporate assets area, including contract negotiation, initiation, and renewal.
    • Monitors, orders, and distributes all office supplies, business forms, mail envelopes, official checks, janitorial supplies, paper products, printed logo materials, business cards, and coffee & tea products
    • Completes work orders, inventory control documents and weekly reports.
    • Some Mail Courier duties, and front desk receptionist coverage as needed.
    • Must Comply with applicable laws and regulation, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act and the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control

    Knowledge and Skills

    EXPERIENCE

    Six months to two years of similar or related experience in Facilities Administration.

    EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

    A two-year college degree is preferred


    INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

    Normal courtesy in dealing with others is required. High Level of customer service skills. Well Organized. Work involves high contact within the other departments, branches, and service providers. Outstanding written and verbal skills. Contact usually involves handling a variety of issues within the other departments. Friendly and positive internal customer service necessary.

    OTHER SKILLS

    Valid Class C driver’s license and acceptable driving record. The ability to stand periodically throughout the day. Working knowledge of facility services and equipment. Knowledge of the Helpdesk Ticketing systems or the ability to learn the system and Keystone operations. Ability to complete work orders and

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    Work requires moderate physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 75 lbs. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and stand; use hands and fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and reach with use of hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance.

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise, as well as outdoors in cold, wet, or warm conditions. Individual may require on occasion to travel by motor vehicle to branches in Wyoming, Colorado, and any other state where the credit union is conducting business.


    MENTAL AND/OR EMOTIONAL REQUIREMENT

    Must be able to perform job functions independently or with limited supervision and work effectively either on own or as part of a team. Must be able to read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions. Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable.

    Full Range: $18.01 - 27.02


    Starting Range: $19.14 - 21.39
