Conducts evaluations of current facilities to assess short-term and long-term space needs and produce feasibility studies. Being a Facilities Planner prepares and reviews designs, layout plans, specifications, and standards that comply with building regulations, industry best practices, and organizational requirements. Estimates costs for labor, materials, and services. Additionally, Facilities Planner generates, monitors, and updates project plans and timelines with task details, deliverables, and status updates. Coordinates construction and installation processes and expedites delivery of materials required by projects. May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Facilities Planner occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. You will be responsible for delivering effective, efficient, and timely service to multiple buildings within the campus. You will need to have strong communication skills and able to foster strong relationships with customers, vendors and team members. You will be responsible for working in our Centralized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), assigning work orders, accepting work orders, working with internal resources as well as vendors to complete work orders, completing financial information for the client and providing EXCELLENT customer service. We are looking for someone who enjoys customer service and has technical knowledge in the MEP world.
