Farm Equipment Mechanic jobs in Spartanburg, SC

Luck Stone, Enoree, SC location is currently seeking an experienced mobile equipment mechanic who can, under general supervision, perform maintenance and repair of heavy equipment, machinery and facilities involved in extraction, crushing and conveying of aggregate stone products while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

The Site Mechanic will maintain, repair and troubleshoot heavy mobile equipment. System expertise should include engines, hydraulics, electrical, HVAC and power train. Position will keep up to date with current technical mobile equipment documentation and train others as needed and is responsible for completing all documentation such as work order service reports, part orders, and maintenance reports online.

Qualified candidates will have previous experience servicing mobile construction equipment and will be competent using online tools and sites for parts ordering, troubleshooting and maintenance schedules. Qualified candidates will have 3 years working on heavy equipment and have experience completing repairs such as oil leaks, thermostats, replacing turbos, starters and alternators. Will also be able to show experience independently troubleshooting engine issues (ex. Performance issues, low power complaints, overheating, unusual noises, etc.) 

Pay starts at $20.76 per hour buy may increase upon experience evaluation by management.
