    Job Summary
    The Financial Aid Counselor is upbeat and positive as they serve as the face of our continually growing institution, and plays a critical role in delivering financial aid services to Sheridan College students. As a member of the Enrollment Services team this position is responsible for maintaining an effective scholarship application and awarding process, and the day-to-day management and administration for institutional and foundation scholarship allocations.

    Education/Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
    • Computer databases and records maintenance

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Able to receive directed work and meet deadlines

    • Microsoft Word and Excel at advanced level
    • Work independently and as an effective team member

    Provide in-depth financial aid counseling to prospective students, current students, and parents regarding financial aid opportunities including: FAFSA application, scholarship applications, eligibility guidelines and resources.

    Responsible for administration of the Sheridan College scholarship program to include institutional, private, and State of Wyoming – Hathaway Scholarships. Provide recommendations on institutional and foundational scholarship allocations to ensure institutional goals and donor specifications are met. Coordinate and conduct scholarship information presentations on and off campus.
