This position is allocated as an IT Business Analyst-Journey and approved for in-training; therefore, it may be filled at either the Entry or Journey levels depending on qualifications.
What this job is about:
As a
Systems Analyst, you will perform specialized analysis, consulting, troubleshooting, testing, customer support, documentation of issues resolution, and training. Your work will support enterprise applications and systems that support fundamental statewide accounting functions, for stakeholders throughout the state of Washington using established methods, processes and tools. In-depth knowledge of enterprise accounting applications, collaboration, effective communication, and independent critical thinking will be paramount when providing technical support in this fast-paced environment where we strive to provide assistance as quickly and accurately as possible.
Note: Telecommuting is available, but you must be able to come into the office in Olympia WA when necessary. We will do our best to give reasonable notice.

ENTRY LEVEL QUALIFICATIONS (Salary range: $68,628 - $92,340)
Required:

A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related technical/business discipline (Note: two years of relevant professional experience may substitute for the educational requirement).

One year demonstrated experience:
-
analyzing systems and data, consulting and providing customer, end user or technical support in information technology enterprise applications.

with accounting and finance line of business applications with a solid understanding of contemporary requirements specification, verification and management practices and the ability to apply them throughout the software development lifecycle.
JOURNEY LEVEL QUALIFICATIONS (Salary range: $79,296 - $106,644)
Required:-
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related technical/business discipline (Note: two years of relevant professional experience may substitute for the educational requirement).

Three years demonstrated experience:

analyzing systems and data, consulting and providing customer, end user or technical support in information technology enterprise applications.

with accounting and finance line of business applications with a solid understanding of contemporary requirements specification, verification and management practices and the ability to apply them throughout the software development lifecycle.
