PRIMARYFUNCTION: Plans, schedules and supervises the work of food service employees and laundry worker. Responsible for the following: ordering of food supplies, food service delivery, preparation and storage, completion of purchase orders, and meeting requirements of ICF/DD’s. Evaluates employee performances, approves leave requests and disciplinary action. Plans and prepares menus according to dietary needs and physician orders, and prepare reports and forms in a timely and accurate manner. Reviews bills and invoices to determine accuracy and approves for payment. Works with Registered Dietician to ensure compliance of nutritional requirements for Residential Services. Assists with completion of billing and reporting procedures. Oversees the residential laundry operations.
QUALIFICATIONS: Completion of secondary education and 18 months of food preparation and purchasing experience, including supervision of others, or equivalent. Trained in food production and kitchen sanitation. Must possess and maintain a valid Ohio Driver’s License and maintain insurability as required by Board Policy. A combination of education and experience may be considered. Good physical stamina with the ability to lift 50 pounds, bend and stoop.
