Job Summary:

Lima One Capital, the Nation’s Premier Lender for Real Estate Investors has an exciting opportunity for a Foreclosure Analyst II. This position plays a vital role within the Special Servicing department and will work with law firms, borrowers, vendors, and internal team members to communicate and track issues applicable to the Special Servicing Department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for timeline management of Foreclosures and Bankruptcy loans and movement through the milestones
• Completes, monitors progress and ensures deadlines are met for foreclosure referrals and other tasks
• Calculates and prepares reinstatements, payoff figures, and other debt information to attorneys.
• Responsible for timely processing of activities and responsiveness of alerts to ensure foreclosure timeline is met
• Manages attorneys to ensure Foreclosure process is consistently progressing
• Follows established company guidelines, department policies and procedures
• Ensures compliance with all investor requirements
• Requires professional discussions with counsel, vendors and Investors as needed
• Manage low priority contested loans and provide status updates back to Upper Management
• Manages Chapter 7, 11 and 13 Bankruptcy loans
• Works directly with the Investor on bidding and vesting instructions for foreclosure sales
• Performs other projects as assigned by Management

Requirements

• 2-3 year (s) of direct foreclosure and/or bankruptcy mortgage servicing related experience
• Must be a self-starter with excellent time management skills and be able to work independently
• Ability to work under minimum supervision and manage tight deadlines
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, proficiency with Microsoft Excel, and Black Knight
• Highly organized
