Fork Lift Operator operates fork lifts to stack and retrieve goods, supplies and materials. Responsible for maintaining inventory and for production area cleanliness. Being a Fork Lift Operator documents and maintains inventory records. Typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Fork Lift Operator typically reports to a supervisor. The Fork Lift Operator possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. As a Forklift Operator/Dock Worker, you will be required to load and unload multi-product pallets in and out of our local delivery trucks. You will also use a forklift to transport merchandise to, from, and within the warehouse to put away.
SHIFTS:
1st Shift B - 11:00AM to 7:00PM
2nd Shift A - 3:00PM to 11:00PM
2nd Shift B - 7:00PM to 3:00AM
RESPONSIBILITES:
Transport merchandise from receiving dock or reserve slots to proper location in the warehouse
Load and unload designated trailers and/or route trucks.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.
Move product and/or materials manually as required.
Sweep floor slots
Change battery in forklift, when applicable
Keep work area clean
Clean spills and re-work damage
Use case cutter to cut tops off cases
Slot material in designated storage areas
Pull material to deliver to production lines
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bi-lingual preferred. Basic command of English a must!
Experience in a fast-paced Production (and Manufacturing) industry preferred
Ability to stand/walk for up to a 10-hour shift, over time based on needs.
Must be able to lift objects weighing 20-80 lbs., occasionally lifting objects more than 90 lbs
Twisting, bending, carrying, balancing, pushing, pulling, reaching, climbing, and stooping
Follow standard operating/work methods and practice safe work habits
Flexible and able to work weekends or over-time as needed
Dependable Reliable transportation
Ability to work in a variety of temperatures
Compliance with all company policies and procedures
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Valid Driver’s License or State Identification
Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same
Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
All plant positions require to stand, frequent motion of extremities and exposure to heat and cold for extended periods of time.
