Fundraising Coordinator jobs in New Jersey
Fundraising Coordinator coordinates operations to execute an organization's fundraising strategies, campaigns, and capital development initiatives supporting short- and long-term organizational revenue objectives. Supports donor stewardship programs to identify, develop, retain, and nurture a portfolio of individual and institutional donors and corporate or governmental partnerships. Being a Fundraising Coordinator plans events and develops communications to increase donor engagement. Uses a donor database and software tools to produce data-driven measurement and reporting of the progress of fundraising goals. Additionally, Fundraising Coordinator may participate in the grant writing and proposal process. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Fundraising Coordinator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Employment Horizons, a nonprofit organization, is seeking a Fundraising Coordinator to manage and enhance fundraising campaigns and events from the research and development stage to the evaluation stage. In this role, you will develop and maintain relationships with current and potential donors and oversee social media and marketing calendars. This position is 40 hours per week.
Salary: $20-$22/hour
Benefits: Generous paid time off including 15 holidays, 18 vacation days, and 10 sick days, employer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage, up to $9,000 in education assistance, and a 401(k) plan with a 3% company match, among other benefits.
Minimum Qualifications:- Commitment to Employment Horizons’ mission
- Associate’s Degree in communication, marketing a related field
- 1 years experience in events and fundraising
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Demonstrated proficiency in WordPress and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and customer service
- Excellent proofreading, organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Creativity and ability to research and locate companies or individuals for increased support
- Experience networking and building relationships
- Ability to work under stress and maintain an even temperament
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with competing deadlines
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- A valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, or a related field
