Do you enjoy working with patients with complex medical needs, but want predictable hours and close provider connection of a clinic setting? Our outpatient clinic at LifeScape Rehabilitation Center could be a great fit!

This position provides direct support to our physiatry providers who specialize in pediatric rehabilitative medicine. This means you will work closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, equipment specialists, and certified orthotist/prosthetists- all in one location. In this role, you also have the unique opportunity to help manage baclofen pumps.

Other tasks Nurses complete include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Analyzes clinical information
  • Assesses/plans/Implements/evaluates condition.
• Evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing interventions
• Documents in the Electronic Medical Record
• Attends required meetings
• Provides leadership to support staff
• Maintains professional relationships with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
• Educates/teaches staff, families, and patients
• Promotes health and safety
• Assists in rooming patients and taking and recording vitals
• Schedules patients
• Interrogates baclofen pumps, performs baclofen pump refills, and is part of the baclofen pump on-call team
