Job Description
Measure and record vital signs, height and weight.
Make beds.
Perform glucometer readings.
Assist physicians or nurses with procedures.
Collect specimens in accordance with established policies and final check.
Assist patients with ambulation.
Train patients in proper use of crutches.
Perform Bladder Scans.
Perform urinary catheterization.
Transport Patients.
Perform CPR.
Document in patient record.
Perform non-medicated dressing changes.
Perform sterile techniques as needed for any listed activity.
Use safe patient handling equipment.
Answer phone as nursing desk and patient call lights.
Use the No Pass Zone.
Perform EKGs.. Visit patients to assess care received using patient family focused care and customer service guidelines.

Additional Job Description
High School Diploma; Successful completion of an associate degree in nursing or Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing program; Obtain BLS within one (1) month of hire and Registered Nurse licensure within six (6) months of hire.
