POSITION SUMMARY
The Sr. Grants Management Administrator will work closely with the Director of Grants Management to effectively design, direct, and implement diversified funding strategies and facilitate collaborative partnerships. Align program with executive leadership, director of grants management, and the organizations mission to develop, plan, prepare, implement and evaluate federal, state, local, and private funding opportunities to support the systems under the ARcare family of companies.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Responsible for oversight of administration and management of grants, including the entire grant lifecycle from proposal development, budgeting, award implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting to grant close out.
- Develop and implement grant management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with funding requirements and organizational guidelines thorough reviews and audit systems.
- Collaborate with program managers and finance department to develop grant budgets and monitor financial performance throughout grant period.
- Ability to research, prepare and write proposals, those for federal, state, local, and foundational systems.
- Ability to delegate and oversee project activities and assure effectiveness of staff to benefit grant project
- Ability to interface with program staff to effectively assess needs and gather required information for the preparation of application/proposals
- Ability to communicate well with others, detail oriented, public relations skills and good organizational skills
- Ability to learn and utilize the organization’s electronic medical record database for data and reporting needs.
- Strong writing, problem-solving, organizational and interpersonal skills essential.
- Ability to be self-directed in accomplishing work responsibilities.
- Skills in understanding, counseling, and/or motivating people in grant project activities
- Submit grant project reports to Director of Grants Management
- Generate reports as needed on grant related projects/programs to meet reporting guidelines.
- Generate reports on UDS data as needed
- Assist the Director of Grants Management and/or CSO in special projects
- Represent ARcare as a member of special committees when appropriate
- Specific grants management duties will consist of the following programs: 1) Health Resources & Services Administration Community Health Center (330) Supplemental Grants, 2) Federal Office of Rural Health Policy Grants, and 3) other Federal grant projects
- Coordinate and report project activities to the Grants Financial Management Team
- Abide by all JCAHO and BPHC guidelines and regulations
- All other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree preferred. High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
Experience: Experience in management and oversight of grant programs activities for researching, writing, and implementation.
Computer Skills: Microsoft Word and Excel; and customized software. Ability to learn and adapt to changing technologies as the organization changes.
