Responsibilities:
Project Follow-Up:
- Lead enhanced diligence in tracking and following up on projects throughout their lifecycle.
- Maintain regular communication with project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and contractors.
- Provide timely updates on project progress and ensure adherence to established timelines.
- Proactively identify and address any potential delays or challenges in project execution.
Detailed Drawing Production:
- Lead the creation of detailed drawings for interior design projects.
- Pay meticulous attention to design elements, dimensions, and specifications to ensure accurate representation.
- Collaborate with senior designers to translate conceptual ideas into detailed and comprehensive drawings.
- Utilize design software to produce high-quality drawings that meet project requirements.
Drawing Accuracy and Completion:
- Ensure that drawings meet a higher standard of accuracy and completeness.
- Take necessary steps to eliminate errors and inconsistencies in drawings.
- Work towards finalizing drawings within specified deadlines for internal and client reviews.
- Collaborate with the team to address feedback and make necessary revisions to enhance drawing quality.
- Lead collaborative efforts with owners, architects, general contractors, procurement, and in-house Interior Design and project managers.
- Operate within timely schedules to meet deadlines.
- Make selections based on brand and owner preferences, designing solutions that best fit the project and region, including furniture, materials, décor, and finishes.
- Operate within budget constraints.
- Prepare and lead client presentations.
- Construct interior design drawing sets, including plans, elevations, and 3D renderings.
- Lead space planning and takeoffs.
- Assemble specification books for each project to send to owners and general contractors.
- Lead in maintaining the sample library.
- Gather quotes through communication with vendors.
- Possess a keen eye for color and textures.
- Stay updated on industry trends.
- Lead in day-to-day office tasks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field from an accredited University.
- Proficiency in Revit, AuotCAD Architecture, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign required; Proficiency in Lumion or other 3D modeling/rendering software preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and comprehensive drawings.
- Effective communication skills for maintaining regular project updates and collaborating with team members.
- Proactive approach to assist with project management, with a focus on meeting timelines and addressing potential challenges.
- Enthusiasm for learning and implementing design best practices under the guidance of Interior Design Managers.

Monroe (historically French: Poste-du-Ouachita) is the eighth-largest city in the U.S. state of Louisiana. It is the parish seat of Ouachita Parish.
