Duties:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and achieve store targets
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Train, supervise, and motivate store staff to deliver excellent customer service and meet performance goals
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff for their professional development
- Oversee inventory control to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize shrinkage
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Create and maintain visual merchandising displays to enhance the store's aesthetic appeal
- Manage shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing coverage at all times
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a retail management role is required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in math for handling cash transactions and managing financial reports
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures and practices
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues in a professional manner
- Multilingual abilities are a plus
- Strong negotiation skills for vendor management and contract negotiations
