Groupware Specialist oversees the development and deployment of the organization's groupware initiative. Defines business requirements and selects collaborative software to meet these requirements. Being a Groupware Specialist implements hardware or software, troubleshoots, and may train end-users. Typically oversees internet access, document sharing, email or other messaging systems. Additionally, Groupware Specialist coordinates with end-users to define needs or areas for improvement. Ensures that all updates or upgrades are appropriately integrated into existing networks. Provides technical support, troubleshooting and training on groupware systems and makes suggestions regarding future groupware needs. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be a Groupware Specialist typically requires 7+ years of related experience. A specialist on complex technical and business matters.     MD Billing Specialist is growing and we’re looking to elevate our team!

    We are looking for someone to learn, master, and elevate all aspects of our Operational processes with an eye towards business development and client services.

    This person will learn the fundamentals of our business in order to develop exciting business services that help our clients grow their business. To do this, they will collaborate with our Revenue Cycle, Innovation, and Accounting teams to develop best-in-field tools, processes, and services that will exceed our client’s expectations. Other duties include providing general operations assistance and/or tasks specific to the scope of the department.

    The ideal candidate is a team player with a passion for business development, innovation, operational efficiency, and client management.

    This position will report to the Director of Operations.

    RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

    Learn all areas of Medical Billing (billing, posting, denials) and fundamentals of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).

    Business Development:

    • Assist in identifying potential new clients.
    • Refine services that we will offer to clients.
    • Present and sell services to clients.

    Client Services:

    Nurture client relationships. Coordinate regular communication with clients.

    • Meet with clients’ and present status updates as well as managing their relationship with MD Billing.
    • Ensure customer success and obsess that we are exceeding client’s expectations.

    Business Analysis:

    • Ability to analyze data and make recommendations for improvement based on findings.
    • Effectively measure the success of the services we provide.

    Teamwork:

    • Contribute to a positive work environment and to a dynamic team focused on working together and that actively helps one another to achieve optimal department results.
    • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure data quality and consistency.

    QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
    • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, with a keen eye for detail.
    • Ability to present to large and small groups in business settings.
    • Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint).
    • Ability to communicate and work effectively in a team environment.

    EDUCATION:

    Bachelors Degree minimum required or an additional four (4) years of related work experience is required.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
