    Job Description

    To create an atmosphere in the Lobby conducive to the prompt and efficient handling of all guests needs.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure that all arriving and departing guests are treated with maximum courtesy and are served expeditiously.
    • Maintain continuous liaison with management, Reservations desk and Housekeeping staff to guarantee that guests are receiving quality services that exceed their expectations.
    • Be alert to potential problems and malfunctions of hospitality services and make on-the-spot corrections.
    • Participate with other members of management in developing plans to deliver special services to selected targeted markets.
    • Ensure maximum cooperation and coordination between the Valet, Bell and Front Desk teams.
    • Be involved in resolution of as many guests' complaints as possible.
    • Organize a ski-check system that provides guests with maximum security and convenience.
    • Ensure that guests traveling between venues on property can do so without inconvenience.
    • Be able to explain the history and unique aspects of the Mt. Washington Hotel.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED, plus one-year relevant experience or an equivalent combination of training, experience, and/or education.
    • Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Must provide excellent service to internal and external customers.
    • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Must be attentive to detail.
    • Must have excellent computer skills.
    • Must be pleasant and friendly.
    • Must be available to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
    • Candidate must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
    • Must have a valid driver's license and an excellent driving record.
    • Must be available for scheduling based on business demands to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
