HR Data Analyst supports the design, deployment, and administration of operational processes used to deliver HR programs and projects. Collaborates with stakeholders to provide consultation, process design, and project management of HR program implementations and initiatives like compensation, benefits, performance management, or training. Being an HR Data Analyst implements scalable methodologies and tools to optimize HR operations and streamline core processes like onboarding, hiring, terminations, retirements, timekeeping, and others that make up the employment life-cycle. Performs employee data management and analysis processes to ensure that data is secure and maintained consistent with company policies and privacy regulations. Additionally, HR Data Analyst prepares and delivers required reporting and filings. May be responsible for the coordination of HR process outsourcing vendors and contracts. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The HR Data Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     Summary:

    The Human Resources Data Analyst supports the maintenance of the Human Resources Management System (HRIS) in addition to other systems supported by the HR team. This individual serves as a technical point of contact for assigned functional areas and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analysis, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The Human Resources Data Analyst collaborates closely with the human resources and information technology teams.

    Responsibilities:

    Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the review, testing and implementation of HRIS system upgrades or patches.
    • Provide support for HRIS including, but not limited to, researching, and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results, or process flaws, perform scheduled activities, and collaborate with functional and technical staff to recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
    • Design, test, validate and implement business process changes in HRIS system.
    • Serve as team lead on new module, solution, or product implementations.
    • Write, maintain, analyze, and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.

    • Develop user procedures, guidelines, and documentation. Provide training on new processes/functionality when applicable.
    • Annual affirmative action reporting and data analysis.
    • Analyze data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to turnover, retention, hiring practices, recruitment, exit interviews, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
    • Conduct annual audits and perform necessary updates on position classifications and worker’s compensation codes.
    • Based on metrics and analysis, makes recommendations for policies and activities to improve the organization culture including suggestions to attract and hire qualified candidates, to motivate and retain employees, to address staffing issues, and to maintain legal compliance.
    • Conduct and/or assist with classification audits to ensure jobs are properly classified.

    • May guide and/or assist with recruitment, performance evaluations, benefit and compensation review, affirmative action, and employee relations.

    Hours will be dependent on patient census and workload. Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, to include after-hours and weekends as necessary.

    The requirements listed below must be representative of the knowledge, skills, minimum education, training, licensure, experience, and/or ability required.

    EDUCATION:

    Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

    EDUCATION FIELD OF STUDY:

    Human Resource Management or Business preferred.

    EXPERIENCE:

    3 years of previous experience in field preferred.

    Combination of 3 years of education and experience in position field preferred.

    Skills/Knowledge Requirements:

    SKILLS:

    Language Skills – Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language required.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

    Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills required.

    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail required.

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.

    Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite required.

    Familiarity with human resource policies preferred.
