  • POSITION SUMMARY As an integral part of a team, the HRIS Manager is responsible for continuously looking for ways to provide system and administrative support for all human resources functional areas including work force management,  benefits, leave management, talent development, payroll.   Highly skilled and motivated the HRIS Manager will oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our Human Resources Information System to enhance its users experience.    This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of HR processes, data management, and technology solutions. The HRIS Manager will collaborate closely with HR leadership, Payroll, IT, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure the effective utilization of the HRIS platform to support our hotels’ HR functions.   This role offers opportunity for innovation, professional growth, for an incumbent who is a strategic thinker with a passion for HR technology, drive for continuous improvement, in a thriving and quality service environment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Maintain the HRIS database, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security.  To include workforce management of employee records, user access, recruitment, benefits workflows, leaves, compensation, performance reviews, organizational charts, learning and development. Collaborate with HR leadership to review, identify, and enhance processes and workflows for automation and streamlining to increase efficiency and reduce manual work and to support end users. Develop and generate regular and ad-hoc reports, metrics, and analytics to support HR decision-making and provide insights into HR trends. Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate key HR metrics to management. Research and troubleshoot daily issues and recommend solutions to meet requirements.  Create standard operating procedures and develop training materials to educate end users.  Provide training and support to HR, team members, managers and other relevant stakeholders in the use of the HRIS platform.  Address user inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth user experience. Perform data audits to maintain data integrity. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal data protection policies.  Maintain data security measures and protocols to safeguard sensitive HR information. Work closely with IT, finance, payroll, and other relevant departments to ensure seamless integration of HRIS data with other systems, such as payroll and time tracking. Collaborate with HR leadership and IT to manage relationships with HRIS vendors and other relevant services providers.  Assist with review of contracts, monitor service levels, and ensure vendor compliance. Maintain knowledge on the latest HRIS technology trends and advancements.  Plan and execute system upgrades and enhancements to ensure that the HRIS remains up-to-date, relevant, and aligned with the evolving needs of the hotels’ HR department. Create and implement the social media recruitment strategies to build talent networks and talent communities to reach target audience. Lead HRIS-related projects, such as system upgrades, data migrations, and process improvements.  Define project scope, objectives, timelines and resources required for successful execution. Performs other duties as required.   SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS Reports To:         Corporate Director of Human Resources, Director of Human Resources   Supervises:        None   EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or another related field. Demonstrated experience (3-5 years) in using HRIS software and management, implementation, and optimization, preferably in the hospitality or hotel industry.  Demonstrated experience in utilizing testing sites for version upgrade and making updates on existing configuration.  Experience with Ceridian Dayforce modules, configuration, and administration is preferred. Any combination of education and experience which would provide the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to meet the minimum qualifications to perform the essential functions of this position.   LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS HRCI or SHRM Certification a plus.   KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality as position will have access to sensitive information. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong understanding of HR processes, policies, and compliance requirements. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Working knowledge of data privacy regulations and implications for HR data management. Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional team. Proficiency in creating metrics, reports, data analysis, and graphical representation as requested utilizing HRIS, Excel, and other applications to adjust, analyze, and present data to end users.  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights. Ability to perform analytical job functions with attention to detail, sense of urgency, and accuracy. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to plan, prioritize and organize. Ability to be focused, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment. Ability to follow directions thoroughly. Ability to efficiently manage multi-tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental and hotel policies/service procedures/standards. Strong proficiency in use of Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience with Ceridian Dayforce, and other‐related HR programs is preferred. Ability to maintain positive employee and guest relations at all times. Ability to anticipate team member or guests needs; respond promptly and acknowledge all team members and guests.
