Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Human Resources, the HRIS Associate/Manager will assume responsibility for overseeing the efficient functioning of the Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). This pivotal role entails safeguarding the integrity of the internal database and systems. The incumbent will collaborate closely with HR team members and internal/external stakeholders to comprehend business objectives, develop business requirements, documentation, reporting, and analysis in strict adherence to CUNY regulations, College policies, and collective bargaining agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
· Intranet Management: Spearhead the development of the HR Department's intranet, facilitating the transition of content from Baruch College's website to a dedicated interactive web-based platform.
· Leadership : Assume leadership of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) team, offering technical guidance, direction, and training to staff and users of HRIS systems. Manage user accounts and securely handle electronically stored employee data.
· CUNY Collaboration : Serve as the representative of the Baruch College HR Department in HRIS-related workgroups across CUNY, fostering collaboration and alignment with broader institutional objectives.
· Database Forums : Act as the HRIS lead in all CUNY-related database forums, workgroups, and projects, both internally and externally.
· Reporting and Data Management: Develop and implement all HRIS-related reporting, auditing, and data requests for the HR department. Produce reports and analyses on full-time and part-time employees, data for fiscal offices and the Office of Academic Affairs, as necessary.
· Training Platform: Oversee all College staff training and development platforms, serving as a liaison and tracking progress on platforms such as Linked Learning, DCAS, and CAA, etc.
· IT Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Baruch Center Technology Center (BCTC) team members to address and troubleshoot system issues, ensuring seamless integration and operation of HRIS systems.
· HCM System Launch :Partner with CUNY in the successful launch of the new Human Capital Management (HCM) system, contributing expertise and insights to optimize system functionality.
· Data Integrity : Develop queries and run reports from CUNYFirst HCM, Payroll System, and ePAF system.Implement procedures to conduct audits and analyze data within and across systems, guaranteeing data integrity and accuracy.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree and six years' related experience required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in HRIS management as part of the four years of required experience.
· Proficiency in HRIS software and databases.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Knowledge of CUNY policies and regulations (preferred).
· Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
