HVAC Mechanic jobs in Wyoming
HVAC Mechanic performs maintenance and service repairs on heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems. Installs new units or replacement parts for existing units according to specifications and established safety guidelines. Being an HVAC Mechanic follows blueprints or engineering specifications to install units. Performs troubleshooting to identify the cause of problems. Additionally, HVAC Mechanic maintains and secures a spare parts inventory. Recommends purchasing maintenance equipment and supplies as required to improve processes and efficiencies. Typically requires an apprenticeship and/or completion of technical training. Requires a high school diploma. The regulations governing the location may require an HVAC Mechanical State License and EPA Section 608 Certification (CFC). Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The HVAC Mechanic works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. We are looking for a skilled mechanic who has experience with air cooled or water cooled machines to work with top of the line commercial and industrial equipment.

What we look for
Required
Must be a member or willing to join the local United Pipefitters Association (UA)
Minimum of 3 years of practical working experience on air cooled or water cooled machines with strong HVAC/ mechanical troubleshooting experience
You may be required to pass a knowledge examination to assess proficiencies.
Attention to detail through interpersonal, digital, and written skills.
Self-starter with a passion/ desire to learn and apply on the job
Prioritize safety in all forms
Universal EPA refrigerants license, applicable state or local licensing, and valid driver's license
Mechanical journeyman status
Pay Range: Hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet. Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement.
