HVAC Supervisor jobs in Greenville, SC
HVAC Supervisor supervises and coordinates the operations, maintenance and service repairs on heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems. Oversees the installation of new units and replacement parts and ensures work is completed according to company, product, or engineering specifications and established safety guidelines. Being an HVAC Supervisor conducts quality testing and inspections. May authorize equipment, supplies, parts, or repairs purchases. Additionally, HVAC Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. Requires an HVAC Mechanical State License and EPA Section 608 Certification (CFC). Typically reports to a manager. The HVAC Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an HVAC Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Supervise the work of other installers maintaining high quality and timely job performance.
Work Hours: 7:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, overtime required as needed
Pay Scale: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour depending on experience Benefits

Required Qualifications:
- Must pass drug and background screens
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
- 2 years install experience
- EPA certified
- NATE install certified or obtain within 1 year of hire
- Proficient in all HVAC functional design and installation of ductwork systems
- Proficient understanding of refrigerant, gas and electric furnaces, heat pumps, troubleshooting and installation of all residential and light commercial systems
- Understand and apply all codes for residential and commercial
- Exceptional Safety knowledge of tools, testing devices and surroundings.
- General knowledge in all HVAC low voltage systems
- Ability to test and balance systems
- Ability to train and supervise others
