HVAC Supervisor jobs in Rock Hill, SC

HVAC Supervisor supervises and coordinates the operations, maintenance and service repairs on heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems. Oversees the installation of new units and replacement parts and ensures work is completed according to company, product, or engineering specifications and established safety guidelines. Being an HVAC Supervisor conducts quality testing and inspections. May authorize equipment, supplies, parts, or repairs purchases. Additionally, HVAC Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. Requires an HVAC Mechanical State License and EPA Section 608 Certification (CFC). Typically reports to a manager. The HVAC Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an HVAC Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     - Provide pictures and pertinent details for jobs to the Install Department. Collaborate with install crews to ensure our clients’ expectations are met.
    - Create load calculations
    - Provide and explain financing options, collect deposits and final payments 

    Job Requirements:

    - High school diploma or GED required
    - Valid driver’s license required
    - Minimum 1 year of HVAC sales experience required
    - Knowledge of load calculations preferred
    - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to calmly and clearly communicate with customers, vendors and coworkers.
    -Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to multi task and prioritize work according to the needs of our business and clients
    - Must be comfortable with computers and able to adapt to new software programs
    - Must be able to work independently and problem solve, but also able to collaborate with the team

    Physical Demands:

    - Regularly required to remain seated in a normal position for long periods of time
    - Regularly required to walk about
    - Regularly required to maintain balance while walking, standing, crouching, climbing or running
    - Routinely required to reach up and out with hands and arms
    - Constantly communicates with internal and external customers in person and via telephone. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations and be able to recognize and distinguish emotions.
    - Regularly required to use hands to grasp objects, type, pick up objects, move objects, or hold objects
    - Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb and/or crawl
    - Occasionally required to lift up to 15 pounds and carry a distance of 10 feet
    - Occasionally required to push and/or pull up to 15 pounds a distance of 10 feet
    - Frequently required to stand for long periods of time
    - Constantly identifies and detects written information on equipment labels, written communication, forms and other labels/documents
    - Constantly operates a computer, tablet and other office machinery
