Hardware Engineering Director directs and oversees all aspects of hardware engineering activities within an organization. Establishes policies and procedures that produce high-quality hardware products. Being a Hardware Engineering Director ensures all hardware engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with organization's established polices and objectives. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Hardware Engineering Director typically reports to top management. The Hardware Engineering Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Hardware Engineering Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Description
Reporting Structure: This position is part of the hotel executive team and will report to the General Manager.
Wage: $100,000 to $115,000 with a 25% bonus paid quarterly
Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs and routine maintenance on operating systems.
- Oversee inventory management, department budgeting, safety controls, and annual certifications/licenses.
- Ensure guest accommodations and work environments are safe.
- Conduct training, motivational development, and performance reviews for engineering staff.
- Meet Concord Hospitality and Hotel Brand compliance standards.
- Provide clear communication to the General Manager, Concord, and ownership regarding areas of concern.
