Head Cataloging Librarian develops cataloging policies and procedures and implements improvement. Manages staff and student assistants in all formats cataloging following updated workflows. Being a Head Cataloging Librarian creates metadata schema to ensure efficient workflow for metadata projects. Typically requires a master's degree. Additionally, Head Cataloging Librarian typically reports to top management. The Head Cataloging Librarian manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Head Cataloging Librarian typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. We are actively seeking a qualified Program Director who will oversee the daily operations and administration of our Head Start program. The candidate will be experienced in the field of Early Childhood Development and general management. The Program Director’s responsibilities include supervising recruitment of Head Start staff, Head Start property maintenance, marketing and communication, financial management, and communication with stakeholders. As a minimum requirement, the Head Start Program Director must have a baccalaureate degree and experience in supervision of staff, fiscal management, and administration. This position requires demonstrated skills and abilities in a management capacity relevant to human services program management. Courses in public administration to include, budgeting, personnel, and supervision are helpful.
