Head of Major Gifts and Partnerships
General Purpose Statement
The Aspen Art Museum seeks a strategic, methodic, externally-focused Head of Major Gifts and Partnerships. This individual will identify, build, cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of existing and high-potential prospects, both individuals and organizations, to support the mission of the Aspen Art Museum.
This position will require the application of core development principles: prospect identification, formulation of effective stewardship and solicitation strategies, and a keen focus on aligning donors with institutional priorities.
Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, and working closely with the office of the Nancy & Bob Magoon Director, the Head of Major Gifts and Partnerships will provide support to the Executive team, Board members, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fundraising and project management, as well as a passion for the arts and the mission of the Aspen Art Museum.

The salary for this position is $100,000 to $130,000 annually depending on experience, performance, and housing assistance. The Aspen Art Museum offers a competitive package of benefits.
