We are searching for an RN Nurse Manager for the Emergency Dept. Under general direction of the Director, Associate Chief Nursing Officer and Site Administrator or designee, provide 24 hours leadership for clinical nursing practice of all ages or individually assigned units. Responsible for supervising assigned patient care staff, allocation of assigned staff and material resources to effect quality patient care outcome. Duties include direct supervisory responsibility of a unit or department, where work performed is generally highly standardized and noncomplex. This level may also apply to positions involving responsibility for direct supervision over large and/or technical sections of major organization segments. Duties involve direct supervisory responsibility for up to and including 100 FTE's.
Welcome to the Emergency Department at St. Luke's Hospital! We have earned official designation as a Level II Adult Trauma Center. Our trauma center is the first of its kind in the region. Our RNs have access to new technologies, professional development resources, and an engaged leadership team. We partner with pediatricians from Boston Children's Hospital to provide specialized care in the emergency room and pediatric unit.
