Head Nurse - Occupational Health directs nursing service activities for occupational health services. Develops and conducts training programs to promote employee safety in the workplace. Being a Head Nurse - Occupational Health conducts regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify any health or safety hazards. Maintains records, investigates accidents and injuries, prepares appropriate reports for OSHA, and ensures compliance with all occupational health, safety, and environmental rules and regulations. Additionally, Head Nurse - Occupational Health coordinates the procurement, review, and project management of contracts and service agreements with outside vendors. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Typically reports to a director. The Head Nurse - Occupational Health manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Head Nurse - Occupational Health typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     HOME HEALTHCARE RN JOB REQUIREMENTS: We will accept RN's with 1 year of experience in ANY setting, however if the nurse does have experience with med/surg patients, that is a plus including Emergency Room, Emergency Department, rehabilitation Center / skilled nursing facility SNF, home health care / visiting nurse setting, rehab hospital, correctional facility, hospital / medical center, Intensive Care Unit ICU, Medical Intensive Care Unit MICU, Surgical Intensive Care Unit SICU, Definitive Observation Unit DOU, Critical Care Unit CCU, float / pool nurse. Any experience will be accepted as long as the RN has at least one year of licensed experience. The RN must be Registered Nurse. The Registered Nurse must have a current license in the state. The Registered Nurse must either be a US Citizen or have your green card.

The OASIS document is computerized, but in paper form is equal to a 38-page questionnaire, and then a lesser number of pages to update it for recertification and discharge. So, there is a lot of paperwork in home health-- are you going to be fine with that?
