Head of Housekeeping jobs in Connecticut
Head of Housekeeping directs and coordinates the daily operations of a housekeeping services department to ensure offices, patient/guest rooms, and other specified areas are kept in a clean and orderly condition. Conducts inspections of facilities and recommends repairs and upgrades when needed. Being a Head of Housekeeping ensures compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations. May create quality standards and monitors the implementation. Additionally, Head of Housekeeping may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to top management. The Head of Housekeeping typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be a Head of Housekeeping typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Job Description: Head Teacher for Infant and Toddler Head Start Program
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head Teacher for our Infant and Toddler Head Start program. As the Head Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a nurturing, safe, and supportive learning environment for infants and toddlers. You will lead a team of teachers and assistants to provide quality education and care for children aged six weeks to three years.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of teachers and assistants to provide quality education and care for infants and toddlers
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
- Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor children's progress and adjust curriculum and activities as needed
- Collaborate with parents and families to support children's learning and development
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment that meets all licensing and regulatory requirements
- Provide guidance and support to teachers and assistants to ensure they meet program standards and expectations
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field with 12 ECE credits or Associate's degree in ECE and 3 years of experience,
- Minimum of three years of experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare or educational setting
- Knowledge of early childhood development and best practices for teaching and care of young children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
