  • The Highlights:

    The Assistant Director of Career Coaching & Education serves as a coach, practitioner, and educator for Kellstadt Graduate School of Business (KGSB) students and alumni. Reporting to the Associate Director of Career Coaching & Education within the Kellstadt Career Management Center (CMC), they play an integral role in supporting the overall career management process for our graduate students and alumni through 1:1 and small group coaching, career programming, and career curriculum.

     


    What You'll Do:

    • Deliver best-in-class career coaching in both 1:1 and group settings to both domestic and international students and alumni; serve as a resource to students in all matters related to their career management and professional development; assist with the collection and submission of student employment data. 
    • Design and/or facilitate career management related programs, events, workshops, and course presentations/content; create and curate career content for online/social use; leverage a variety of platforms, tools, and modalities in the creation of content to provide a high-touch accessible experience for our students. 
    • Serve as a liaison between the CMC and one or more Kellstadt/Driehaus student organizations, acting as a support and consultant to their career-related programming; serve as a liaison to one or more campus partners (i.e. International Student & Scholar Services) as appropriate 
    • Analyze markets and trends as they relate to graduate business students’ career paths and job search tactics; collaborate with the Employer Relations & Recruiting Team to share student feedback, recruiting strategies, and hiring needs with employer and alumni partners. 
    • Supervise one of more Graduate Assistants.
       

     

    What You'll Need:

    • Bacherlor's degree required, Master's degree preferred from accredited college or university
    • Minimum two years of experience in career services, higher education, industry, recruiting, HR, or related field with direct experience coaching students/clients on their career management process.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage projects, programs, processes, and/or events.
    • Demonstrated ability to present and facilitate workshops in both small and large group settings across multiple modalities.
    • Experience working with graduate business students at the MBA or MS level and/or strong business/industry acumen.

    • This position is currently expected to work a hybrid schedule. Occasional evening and/or weekend work required. Rare travel required.
