Our team comprises both current and retired educators who are passionate about assisting schools in fulfilling their substitute teaching requirements and beyond. As a substitute teacher, you'll play a crucial role in supporting student learning and fostering an interactive classroom atmosphere when the regular teacher is absent. This presents an outstanding opportunity to create a positive impact on students' lives and acquire valuable teaching experience.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver lesson plans provided by the absent teacher and pacing guide for the grade level and subject area.
• Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Implement classroom management strategies to maintain discipline and ensure student engagement.
• Establish and maintain rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Communicate with the absent teacher or designated school personnel to report any issues or concerns.
• Follow all school policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (in education or a related field is preferred).
• Teaching experience in a K-12 setting is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to adjust to various classroom settings and instructional styles.
• Ability to substitute teach on an as-needed basis and be available for same-day assignments.
• Valid Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (IVP)
• Current Substitute/Teaching Certificate from the Arizona Department of Education - or eligible to get one
