The Value Analyst, GPO/AHGPO- Group Purchasing Organization /AllSpire Health Group Purchasing Organization (Regional) works with the Corporate Value Analysis Program, and in collaboration with the Clinical Value Analyst, Value Analyst, Corporate Purchasing, Corporate Materials Management, and other departments as necessary to provide Value Analysis Team support. Assists in coordinating AllSpire Health Group Purchasing Organization Functions, Group Purchasing Organization Contracts, product selection and acquisition, and Value Analysis Team operations. Assists in preparing reports to show financial and GPO compliance, standardization operations, and savings measurements.
This is a remote position.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Medical Products and Supply Chain Operations as well as a minimum of 2 years of Purchasing or Materials Management experience.
Responsibilities:
A day in the life of a Value Analyst, GPO/AHGPO at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:

Value Analysis Team Participation: Actively participates in Group Purchasing Organization / AllSpire Health Group Purchasing Organization, and Value Analysis Projects.
- New / Substitute Products: Approve and Facilitate introduction of new products, and substitutions for back orders, in-service and educational requirements are completed and documented.
- Value Analysis Project data gathering and distribution:
- Act as Steering Committee Coordinator for AllSpire Collaborative documentation and reporting.
- Coordinate minutes, spreadsheet and notices.
- Serve as a clearing house for input from all affiliated members.
- AllSpire Collaborative Meeting Reporting:

Attend all clinical collaborative meetings. (Cardiovascular, Nursing, Radiology, and Surgery)
- Reports to the Steering Committee with post collaborative information, the proceedings of the meeting, key initiatives and outstanding tasks.
- Value Analysis Program reviews initiatives and makes recommendations to proceed conceptually, run further analysis or decline participation.
- Responds to AHGPO with HMH Decision to Collaborative contacts.
- Create and distribute decisions to Value Analysis Team Leader, and Collaborative Steering Committee Members.

Add HMH Decision, and Collaborative Meeting minutes to shared drive and notifies Steering Committee and Key Members.
- Clinical Trial / Evaluation:
- Works with Value Analysis Team Leader, Clinical Education, and impacted facility / units to set trial parameters.
- Works with suppliers to provide necessary documentation, online resources, and evaluation forms.
- Contact trial unit(s) and coordinate item builds, and other trial activities.
- Obtain product for clinical trials from supplier.
- Gather and report trial evaluation results and share with Value Analysis Team Leaders.

Report results to VAT Team and recommend implementation or reject the trial.
- Recall Processing: Works in coordination with the Value Analysis Manager and VP of Corporate Purchasing / HMH Network Recall Officer to coordinate the process of publishing and follow-up of all recalls until completion.
- Maintains electronic and paper copies of all pertinent recall documentation.
- Consults regularly with Supply Chain Executive Assistant in all matters concerning recalls.
- Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
- Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
Qualifications:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of Purchasing or Materials Management experience.
- LPN or Equivalent Certified Technician
- Knowledge of medical products and supply chain operations.
- Google Workspace Suite: including but not limited to GMail, Sheets, and Docs.
- Analytical Reporting skills (Financial, Product Usage, Marketshare, and Operational).
- Ability to schedule, participate and take notes during meetings.
- Ability to form an agenda.
- Ability to follow-up on reports.
- Analytical thinking skills.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Statistical knowledge.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office and Google Suite platforms.
