Responsible for supporting Center labor expense management goals and objectives by identifying issues, educating and training Staffing Coordinators et al. in policies, systems and procedures, and implementing changes to effect positive results. Gain an overall understanding of the various pay rules for each center. In some cases this will require knowledge of union contracts. Learn the setup, maintenance, and reporting requirements/capabilities of all labor related systems including GenSTAR, PeopleSoft and Cognos. Conduct routine analyses of center metrics to determine opportunities for improvement. Alert management to center weaknesses concerning labor management practices and procedures. Proactively resolve labor management issues in collaboration with Administrator and/or designee. Identify, document, and institutionalize Best Demonstrated Practices (BDPs) in coordination with Corporate Sr. Director - Labor Management. Provide education and training programs to ensure center Staffing and Payroll Coordinators understand and effectively implement labor management policies and procedures. Develop positive, professional relationships with Staffing Coordinators to facilitate the identification and resolution of labor management issues. Assist in budgeting labor hours and rates for all centers in the Central Area. Complete all ad hoc projects assigned by the Director of Financial Analysis.

SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL/VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent. Knowledge of and experience with center staffing practices and procedures., an average to above average command of Excel/Word/PowerPoint software and applications analytical experience to include report writing summations, ability to train, communicate, and present ideas to all levels of employees, ability to take charge and effect positive change.
