UPG Electrical is looking for a Heavy Assembler to join our team at our Monroe, WI facility. Heavy material and equipment are used to produce these products. Safe operation and attention to detail is critical to this role. This position will report to the Production Manager.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assemble products by following work instructions
• Use measuring equipment and ensure quality standards are followed and met to the highest standard
• Move product by using lifting devices such as cranes, chains and slings
• Operate grinder to prep parts
• Operate hand, air, and power tools, as needed
• Assist with continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives
• Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience in manufacturing environment
• Ability to use lifting devices (cranes, chains, and slings)
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently
• Ability to read blueprints, preferred
• Ability to use measuring equipment; measuring to 3 decimal places
• Detail oriented
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively
• Positive demeanor, dependable, and strong work ethic
