Heavy Assembler assembles fabricated parts to large or heavy subassemblies and completes units. Fits, tests, and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. Being a Heavy Assembler conducts welding, riveting, and trimming of parts to fit or align components. Uses hand and power tools, jigs, fixtures, and other assembly equipment. Additionally, Heavy Assembler typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Heavy Assembler works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. We’re looking for an experienced Warehouse Associate to ensure the daily operations of our warehouse in Milford, Virginia. Our ideal candidate is knowledgeable in all aspects of shipping and receiving, invoicing and billing, warehouse and inventory management. Working knowledge of the industrial and commercial tire industry is desirable but not a prerequisite for employment.
