Help Desk Manager manages the staff and operations of an organization's technical help desk. Ensures team members are trained and coached on effective methods to research, troubleshoot, deliver solutions, and access the current product or technical updates. Being a Help Desk Manager trains the team on the help desk systems and tools to identify, document, track, and resolve reported problems. Identifies and gathers key metrics to analyze the help desk performance and identify problem areas. Additionally, Help Desk Manager monitors and measures service metrics and volume to develop standards, improvements, or changes to workflows and resource allocation. Acts as an escalation point and facilitator for severe, critical, or unique issues. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Help Desk Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Help Desk Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. In this role, you'll innovate new and exciting sales processes and extend Uplift's brand even further into the corporate world, advertising our best designs to influencers, commercial real estate, purchasing departments, and more!

    Required Qualifications

    • Proven success record in sales, with at least 5 years of experience in a sales management role
    • Experience leading, motivating, and training a high performing sales team (3-5 reps)
    • Experience with building outreach cadences that include emails, calls, and LinkedIn steps
    • Capable of building out new sales processes (both inbound and outbound) with an emphasis on closing
    • Highly skilled presenter, capable of winning deals when competing with other office furniture sales people; we truly do have the best product and you will need to convey that
    • Highly skilled written communicator able to present ideas, create reporting data, and write process documents
    • Must be able to successfully understand quotes, margins, and company costs

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Communication, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
    • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a focus on driving revenue growth
    • Experience driving the development of national sales strategies as we enter key new cities with our B2B teams
    • Expert promoter with history of hosting events to generate leads
    • Familiar with complex product catalogs, eCommerce, and retail

    What You’ll Do

    • Get to know the UPLIFT Desk customers, explore their needs, and find great solutions for them
    • Develop and implement effective sales processes and strategies that lift the entire team
    • Oversee coverage hours, scheduling agents to monitor multiple channels for potential sales and follow-up within a timely manner
    • Establish and write detailed processes to grow UPLIFT Desk's small, medium, and large account sales
    • Generate regular sales reports for senior management and present KPIs each month to identify trends and areas for improvement
    • Present a positive image of UPLIFT Desk at events and corporate showcases
    • Analyze market trends, best practices, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth
    • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure a coordinated approach to company goals
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
    • Conduct sales meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions to keep the sales team at peak efficiency
    • Complete additional tasks and projects as assigned by management
