Help Desk Support Assistant responds to end-user requests for technical assistance by phone, email, or ticketing system. Troubleshoots and resolves basic computer, application, system, device, access, or performance issues. Being a Help Desk Support Assistant uses established processes and procedures to document, track, and resolve reported problems and to meet operational service levels and standards. Utilizes product information or solution database to research, troubleshoot, and deliver solutions. Additionally, Help Desk Support Assistant advises users on the methods, steps, and actions to resolve and avoid future issues and provides documentation as needed. Escalates problems to appropriate levels or teams to achieve issue resolution. May support installs or upgrades of software or devices, set up user profiles, or re-set passwords. Fulfills all service level standards for response time and quality. May require an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Help Desk Support Assistant works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.     Job Description:
    As an Internet Customer Support Help Desk Representative, you will be at the forefront of our commitment to providing outstanding customer service. You will interact with customers by email and phone to resolve inquiries, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries
    • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for internet-related issues, including connectivity problems, account setup, and software and hardware configurations.
    • Identify and escalate complex issues to the appropriate teammember for resolution.
    • Educate customers on product features, services, and best practices to enhance their overall experience.
    • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and resolutions in our CRM system.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and drive continuous improvement in customer support operations.

    Requirements:

    • Fluent in English and Spanish
    • Proven experience in a customer support or help desk role, preferably in an internet service provider or related industry.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong customer service orientation.
    • Technical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic internet connectivity issues.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality support to customers.
