Palmetto Summerville Behavioral Health is a residential treatment facility, located in Summerville, South Carolina. We treat children and adolescents, ages 7 to , who require a highly structured and supervised therapeutic environment.
Residents attend programming separately, and are assigned to a group based on functioning level and treatment needs.

Provides and maintains a high level of sanitation, general readiness, and appearance of the assigned work area within the hospital.
All interactions are appropriate and specific to the population(s) served. Housekeeping is responsible for providing a clean, sanitary, comfortable, orderly and enjoyable surroundings for patients, visitors and employees and promotes sanitary conditions which prevent the spread of infections and odors.
The Housekeeper may be required to perform tasks which involve exposure to visible blood contamination or reasonably anticipated blood contamination.
The Housekeeper must follow the required procedures for handling, cleaning, disposing, or moving objects / materials and / or the clean-up of blood, infectious materials or body fluids in accordance with OSHA Blood-borne Pathogen Standards.
The Director of Plant Operations supervises housekeeping.

Qualifications
Education : High School graduate or GED preferred.
