SUMMARY:
The Housekeeper is responsible for the cleanliness of guestrooms and public areas of the facility. Cleanliness of guest rooms includes replacing guest amenities and supplies in rooms, replace dirty linens with clean items, make beds and fold terry, clean bathrooms, remove trash, dust, vacuum and report any out of service items to the Facilities department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary and guest information; protect company assets and guest privacy.
• Report any maintenance problems or safety issues to appropriate departments.
• Housekeeper will also be responsible for maintaining a constant supply of clean linen for the hotel.
• Speak with others using clear and professional language.
• Comply with quality assurance and safety expectations and standards. The Housekeeper must follow all company safety and security policies when entering guest rooms and report any suspicious activity to the Security and/or Guest Concierge departments.
• Be familiar with hotel amenities, restaurants, and hotel policy to assist guests with requests for information.
• Housekeepers should be able to make a bed, clean bathroom, complete turnover of rooms, within a reasonable amount of time.
• Maintain stock level of clean linen, and housekeeping supplies.
• Perform all stages of linen processing, including but not limited to collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading and unloading (washers and dryers, and chutes) ironing, folding, storing, and delivering.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors and/or Leads.
• Cleans, sweeps, mops, dusts, vacuums, polish walls, clean floors and fixtures within facility.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSE, AND REGISTRATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma, or GED and experience preferred but not mandatory in a similar capacity position. (G4)
High School diploma or GED required three years (3) of housekeeping experience and certifications in use of hazardous chemicals, safety, or other housekeeping duties. (G4/S1-3)
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
