Human Resources Manager develops human resources policies and programs and directs the staff in managing and implementing programs that support employee engagement, productivity, and company objectives. Manages key HR functions, including recruiting, employee/labor relations, health and safety, compensation, benefits, training, diversity, payroll, and employee records. Being a Human Resources Manager develops and delivers internal staff communications. Evaluates, selects, and manages relationships with vendors to provide supplemental HR processes and services. • Monitor EHS performance, identify risks, areas of improvement, conduct and manage EHS audits and on-site inspections to identify EHS workplace hazards.
• Manage investigation of EHS incidents, prepare reports and recommendations, implement waste management programs, develop and drive EHS trainings, manage relationships with community of EHS stakeholders.
• Research, evaluate and recommend changes to improve EHS performance.
• Provide expertise and advice on EHS issues to area managers and plant managers.
• Eliminate the risk of occupational injury and illness, and environmental non-compliance in a manufacturing environment.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of EHS professionals.
• Implementation of EHS systems according to norms ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and OHSAS.
• Maintain relationships with the community, EHS groups, or other stakeholders impacted by the EHS performance of the organization.
• Coordinate compliance audits, inspections, including insurance inspections.
• Ensure all new equipment meets all legal and YF requirements.
• Manage the plant’s occupational health provider.
• Set the standard and cultivate the EHS culture in the plant.
