This a Case Worker Position. We receive calls into our Hotline of Abuse/Neglect on Children. You are an Initial Caseworker or Ongoing Care Case Worker. You assist the children and families in these situations.

Advocate for each child’s safety, permanency, and well-being * Respect the individuality of each child and family serviced . * Respect each child’s family and culture * Implement family-centered practice principles into case management to ensure the inclusion of children and families in the decision-making processes that impact their lives * Promote normalcy in the lives of children in care * Adhere to principles and procedures of Structured Decision Making as a tool in decision making that will support keeping children and families safe * Understand the benefits of utilizing evidence-based and promising casework practices * Commit to evidence-based and promising family-centered casework practices that utilize a least-restrictive approach for children and families * Coordinates efforts of formal and informal resources to ensure that the needs of children, youth and families are being met in the most efficient way * Identifies and makes appropriate referrals when formal intervention is not needed but family has an unmet need. * Design clear, concise and descriptive reports under time constraints.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.93 - $24.55 per hour
